If you're a lesbian, it's obviously important to you to find a dating site that understands and caters for your sexuality. A few years ago it was very difficult to find sites dedicated to lesbians. Sure there were gay dating sites to be found, but most of them were pretty much specifically for homosexual males.

Times have changed and there are now more dating sites aimed at a lesbian audience. I have to say that given the feedback received from our customers I couldn't unreservedly recommend most of them, but there is one specific lesbian dating site that I can give a thumbs up to - The Lesbian Personals - and there are a few gay sites with a strong lesbian membership that you'll find listed below.

Don't dismiss out of hand the general dating sites. Most of them have pretty strong gay clienteles amongst whom you'll find plenty of lesbian and bi women, so it would be worth at least signing up for their free memberships to check out what they can offer you.
