When looking for free
photo dating on the Web you really need to concentrate on sites with a
large membership as this obviously maximises your chances of finding
just the right person for you.
I certainly think you
are best off with sites that allow you to post a photo along with your
profile. Looks might not be everything but we do tend to be visual
creatures don’t we? And if you haven’t had the chance to view a photo
exactly how are you going to recognise this person you’ve been
corresponding with when it comes time for that all important first
date?
Of course, you have
to beware of those people who don’t post a photo that is anything like
accurate. You wouldn’t do that would you? Post a completely fictitious
photo I mean. If you’re tempted to do this, I would strongly urge you
not to. You know you’re going to get found out in the end.
You must remember
that if you’re serious about finding a life partner (and I sincerely
hope you are), if you think you’ve found that special person and all of
your email communications have been going beautifully and you’ve had a
chance to speak on the phone and now you’ve arranged a date in the real
world (as opposed to the virtual one) – aren’t you going to be worried
about what this person’s going to think if your photo looks nothing like
you? Not a good way to start what you hope will be a relationship for
life, is it? What are they going to think of you if you’ve effectively
been lying with your picture? What else might you have been lying about?
Don’t do it – a recent, accurate photo is ALWAYS the best one to post
along with your profile.
Free photo dating
sites often don’t have a particularly high-quality clientele, so you’re
usually better off in the long-run with a paid site. Don’t forget that
most paid sites actually have a free trial and that this is usually for
an indefinite period.
At the very least, in
your quest for free photo dating, I would suggest that you sign up for
the free trial from some of the larger dating sites that allow you to
post a photo with your profile (which is just about all of them), at
least to let you have a look at their membership base to see if they
generally have a lot of members that fall into the category you’re
looking for. This will give you the option to test the waters free of
charge and find out whether it will be worth your while investing in a
membership. You don’t really want to miss the opportunity of meeting
your dream partner just because you were too stingy to spring for a few
bucks do you?
Remember the paid
members at paid sites have demonstrated their commitment by actually
getting their credit cards out, so that tells you a lot about how
serious they are. Think about it.
