Ok, so you've exchanged plenty of emails, you've seen photos and now you're going to meet. How do you guarantee you'll recognise them? The best bit of dating advice I can give you here is: tell each other what you're going to wear.

Another good piece of dating advice is to arrange for a first date to be in a coffee break or other circumstance when you only have a genuine reason for it being comparatively short. This gives you enough time for making an initial judgment about the person, but not long enough for the awkward silence to creep in.

If you're a guy a really good piece of dating advice I can give you is: even if the woman is absolutely drop dead gorgeous, don't go overboard in commenting on her looks - even the most attractive women are not going to be too impressed with you if they think that all you're interested in is their looks.
